Learn to code.
Think it through.
Find your spark.
Build the habit of understanding a problem, testing an idea, and explaining a solution. Explore an interest in computing through programming and competition challenges.

A place to begin
Different starting points.
A shared curiosity.
Curious beginners
Turn an idea into a working program, one manageable step at a time.
Young problem solvers
Move beyond syntax. Learn to break down a problem and compare approaches.
Students ready to go deeper
Explore core algorithms, practise independently, and discover what keeps you interested.
The learning pathway
Build understanding.
Then build on it.
Our main learning journey focuses on Levels 1–3. Placement follows what a student can do, with support matched to their experience and goals.
Explore levels and competition connections
Programming foundations
Start here with little or no coding experience.
A visible outcomeWrite a small program and explain what it does.
Methods for solving problems
For students who can already write basic programs.
A visible outcomePropose an approach, explain it, and test the edge cases.
Core algorithms, independent thinking
For students ready to work through more complex challenges.
A visible outcomeChoose a method, compare its cost, and build a reliable solution.
CP ADVANCED
A smaller next step for students ready for more.
Explore more advanced algorithms and data structures through selected courses. Discuss readiness, interests, and available teaching arrangements with us.
Completing Level 3 is a meaningful milestone. Students may continue with algorithms, explore projects, or keep coding as a useful interest.
How we learn
The thinking matters
as much as the code.
We practise reading, reasoning, implementation, and review. Small applications and open-ended variations help students connect algorithms with things they can build.

Growth you can discuss
More than a score.
Make the problem smaller
Explain the task, identify the constraints, and plan the next step.
Make the reasoning visible
Explain a choice, compare alternatives, and find counterexamples.
Learn from what fails
Use a test case to locate a mistake and check the repair.
Notice what sparks interest
Notice the questions, variations, and projects a student chooses to explore.
Independent work and work completed with hints are different evidence. One score cannot decide a student’s interest in computing or engineering.
Shared skills, different goals
Choose a challenge
that fits the learner.
Competition problems offer useful challenges and feedback. Choose a goal that fits the student; participation is not a requirement for every learner.
CANADA
CCC
Junior and Senior offer different challenges. Select preparation around current skills and goals.
UNITED STATES
USACO
Connect programming and core algorithms with division-specific practice where appropriate.

GESP · CSP
Plan around the selected level, language, and assessment format. Check the support available for the specific goal.
Academy levels describe learning—not contest rankings. The connections above are not grade equivalences or a promise that every competition level is offered.

before the first step.
Does my child need to compete?
No. Competition challenges are one way to practise. We choose learning goals around the student’s interests and readiness.
Python or C++?
Start from prior experience and the learning goal. We can discuss the language choice without asking students to repeat concepts they already understand.
What happens after Level 3?
Continue with selected Level 4 courses, explore projects, or keep programming as an interest. Continuing to higher contest levels is not the only successful outcome.
How are courses scheduled?
Schedules and lesson lengths depend on the specific program. Check its course page or contact us for current arrangements. A level is not a fixed number of lessons.
